A green ribbon!

That's right folks: we have decided to hang a coloured ribbon on our door, just like when announcing the arrival of a new baby!

But in our case, we are celebrating a very important achievement in the history of Hotel Fabrizio: winning the 2016 Eco-tourism Oscar!

On 12^th February 2016, we were honoured to be acknowledged at the Bit trade show in Milan for “Excellent Environmental Management” and for “the precision in carrying out all the points of Legambiente's Ten Commandments”.

 We are truly flattered.

This recognition is the result of small actions performed each day in the respect and well-being of the environment. We do believe in the importance of making small changes and we practise what we preach at home, but even more so at our hotel. We choose to purchase bulk foodstuff rather then single portion products, we recycle paper, separate waste, use eco-friendly products to clean the rooms as much as we can and have established many other good practices that do not require any effort, but just a different way of thinking. All of this is extremely important, especially for our guests, who appreciate and share these practices which are of great value to us. Our actions makes us feel we are making educated choices which will impact positively on our children for whom we are shaping the future of this world.

Hotel Fabrizio's environmental commitment is a journey which began back in 2005 as the natural progression of a strong personal conviction.

We hope our guests continue to appreciate our actions, because this cause is very close to our heart.

So, which colour will be the ribbon on the door be? Pink or Blue?

Neither, dear friends! Our ribbon is special and it will be Green & Blue to highlight what we stand for: respect for the environment and nature.
